Izzy needs a home! Pasadena Humane Society!

People and dog-friendly lab/husky mix at the Pasadena Humane Society is looking for her forever home!

“Izzy” (A262229) has been at the Pasadena Humane Society since November 23rd, when she came in as a stray.  She is microchipped, but when they found the original owner they could not keep Izzy.

Izzy is about 3 years old and she is already spayed.  She weighs around 45 pounds and is in excellent health.

Izzy is so well behaved that she acts as a “tester dog” for evaluating other dogs’ behaviors.  She is very playful and appropriate is likely to do well in a multi-dog home.  Izzy gets out for walks around the park with volunteers daily, and she can often be found lounging around in an office at the shelter.

Besides going for walks and testing other dogs, Izzy gets to go to the play yard frequently with volunteers for quick games of fetch.  She enjoys every toy she sees, and the volunteers say she is very playful and not rough with them.

As much as Izzy is a shelter favorite she wants her very own home for the holidays and would like to find it very soon.

If you are able to rescue or adopt “Izzy” (A262229), please contact the Pasadena Humane Society adoptions office at (626) 792-7151 x 137

Thank you!!!!!

  1. I'm very interested in getting an Akita. I've heard a lot of good things about the breed.
